Mandatory Check-inWelcome Onboard
ONLINE CHECK-IN
Every passenger, speaker, and staff must complete online check-in and get your XPRESS Pass (boarding pass) between February 4 and March 16, 2026.
There are two parts to Celebrity’s check-in process: 1) Online check-in on a smartphone or computer and 2) Checking in at the Cruise Terminal at Piraeus Port of Athens.
The Celebrity cruise line online check-in is the first step, where you’ll input your documentation and credit card information and select your preferred arrival time at the Cruise Terminal. The second part is on embarkation day, March 20. Upon arrival at the Cruise Terminal, your documentation will be checked and you’ll pass through a brief security screening.
During Celebrity’s online check-in process, you will choose your preferred time to board the ship—an Appointment time when you will arrive at the Cruise Terminal in Piraeus on March 20 for boarding. The earliest Appointment times are usually around 11:00 am with the latest around 2:30 pm.
You can select the check-in time yourself, but slots are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Most guests try to select the earliest time possible, which makes getting one of these spots competitive. Getting an early Appointment is the main reason we suggest that you check-in early. The earlier you complete the online check-in process, the earlier you will be able to board the ship. The later you wait, the later you will board.
HERE’S A TIP: If you want to select the earliest possible boarding time, complete your online check-in just after midnight, Eastern European Time (Athens Greece time zone on February 4, (or whatever date Celebrity indicates on the App that check-in will become available). This should be February 3 just after 5:00 pm Eastern Time in the USA.
When you and your party arrive at the Cruise Terminal, you’ll just need your digital or printed XPRESS pass, ID documents, and credit card that you registered online.
Please watch the videos and/or follow the written instructions below for How to Check-In.
HOW TO CHECK-IN ONLINE
Step-by-Step
ALL passengers, including speakers and staff, must check-in for the cruise and print out luggage tags.
Before you check-in, you’ll need:
– Full Name(s) and Birth Date(s) (Please forward to your roommates if needed.)
– Celebrity Confirmation Number (This number can also be found on the invoice you received when you booked.)
– Date of Departure: March 20, 2025
– Ship Name: Celebrity Infinity
– Passport or Other Appropriate Proof of Citizenship and ID
– Home Address and Phone Number
– Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number
– Credit or Debit Card Info to Set Up Onboard Expense Account (Accepted Options: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Credit Cards)
– Digital Headshot Photo (Or, if registering on your smart phone, you can take a selfie when prompted.)
– Captain’s Club Membership Number (If you have one.)
Have your passport or ID documents handy when completing the online check-in, as you will need to input documentation information (ID number, expiration date, etc.).
CHECK-IN WITH YOUR PHONE OR YOUR COMPUTER
To Check-In via the Celebrity App with Your Smart Phone:
Download the Celebrity App in the App Store and follow the instructions on this video:
Once you have completed your pre-cruise check-in, your SetSail Pass will be saved on your phone in the Celebrity App.
To Check-In via the Celebrity Website on Your Computer:
You may check in using your computer and going to this link:
https://www.celebritycruises.com/account/signin
Although you can complete Celebrity’s online check-in process on either the Celebrity App or Celebrity website, we suggest using the App for a few reasons:
1. You can use the App to scan your passport instead of inputting information manually. This can save time, especially when checking in multiple members of your family or travel party.
2. Using your phone instead of a computer makes uploading a security photo easier. You can take a selfie photo directly from your phone and upload to the App, instead of having to transfer a photo to your computer first.
3. By using the Celebrity App, you can quickly select a check-in time without going through the entire check-in process. On the website, you must complete all parts of the check-in process before selecting a check-in time. The App allows you to select a check-in time first and complete the rest of the process later.
Online check-in closes on March 16, 2026. If you forget to do the online check-in process before your cruise, you can complete it at the cruise terminal on embarkation day. We advise against waiting until you get to the Cruise Terminal.
Once you have completed your pre-cruise check-in online, you can do at least one of the following to store your XPRESS PASS, which you will need to board the ship:
1. Print out your XPRESS Pass (boarding pass) on paper.
2. Store it on your phone in your Apple or Google wallet.
3. Take a screen shot of the page and keep it in your Photos, in case Internet is spotty at the Cruise Terminal.
If you have any issues completing check-in, please feel free to contact Celebrity at (888) 722-5941 for US passengers or +1 (316) 554-5961 for international passengers, and a representative will be happy to walk you through the process.
Once you are checked in, you can save money by purchasing a prepaid WiFi package. You can also save on beverage packages, spa treatments, bottled water, specialty dining, and other add-ons.
HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE
All passengers must fill out a health questionnaire before boarding a Celebrity cruise. This questionnaire asks if you have had any symptoms of illness within the past 10 days, including nausea, sore throat, cough, and muscle aches. The questionnaire aims to ensure all passengers onboard are healthy, thus lessening the risk of a contagious virus spreading onboard. Answering yes to any symptoms on the list could possibly result in denial of boarding.
The health questionnaire can be completed in the Celebrity App. It will be available on the App about 24 hours before your cruise. You will receive a notification stating that the health questionnaire is ready to fill out. If you forget to fill it out, you will be asked the questions in person once in the cruise terminal.
CRUISE TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Each passenger is responsible for providing Celebrity Cruises with complete and accurate immigration information and for obtaining any necessary visas if required for the country from which your passport has been issued. Depending on your country of citizenship, visa for Greece and/or Turkey may be required.
Travel Document requirements vary by destination and your citizenship. Please see the following page on the Celebrity website for information about what travel documents are required: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/travel-documents
Starting sometime in 2026, travelers from visa-exempt countries (such as the USA) may also need to obtain an ETIAS authorization (European Travel Information and Authorization System) prior to arrival in the Schengen Area. If you have any questions about entry requirements or documentation, please contact Celebrity Cruises directly at the USA number (800-256-6649) or International number +1-316-554-5961.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please check that your name appears exactly as shown on your receipt and your boarding document. If the name does not match, contact your travel agent (the travel agent must call-in corrections).
HEALTH AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend you review your health insurance coverage before cruising. Many policies, including Medicare, will not pay for services or hospitalization outside of the country or for emergency evacuation, such as a helicopter lift from a ship to shore. Celebrity Cruises ships are foreign-flagged and are considered “out of country.” If you are a US citizen, please contact Diane at Legendary World Travel: 336-749-1219, to arrange for insurance. If you are not a US citizen, please look into getting travel insurance for a cruise holiday.
WHAT IS THE CELEBRITY SEAPASS ACCOUNT?
One of the best things about cruising is the convenience of being able to sign for all your expenses and have them charged to your stateroom. When you check-in for your cruise, you’ll receive a SeaPass Card. This Card is used to access your personal shipboard account to which all purchases are charged.
All Celebrity ships operate on a “cashless” system, meaning your boarding card, (also known as your Celebrity SeaPass card), will be used as a charge card to make all onboard purchases. To activate this Celebrity SeaPass account, most guests provide a credit card, (American Express, Optima, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diner’s Club), to have these purchases charged at the end of their cruise. Additionally, the Celebrity SeaPass system may be activated with traveler’s checks, Visa or MasterCard debit cards, or cash.
A running tab of all your purchases will be kept under separate folio numbers for each guest and an itemized statement left in your stateroom the night before disembarkation. If you provided a credit card and there are no discrepancies, the amount will be charged to your account on the morning of disembarkation. If you have used traveler’s checks or cash to activate the account, you will need to settle the account at the Guest Relations desk, to either receive a reimbursement of the unused amount, or to pay the balance due.
CELEBRITY SEAPASS CARD: YOUR ID
Celebrity Cruise Line uses a computerized system for tracking all persons, both guests and crew, who enter and exit the ship. Upon arrival at the ship, each guest is issued a boarding card (Celebrity SeaPass cruise card) which they must swipe to be officially logged on to the ship. The system imbeds a full color, digital photograph together with personal database information on the SeaPass. With a card swipe, a computer displays a corresponding photo with database information and merges time and date tracking information upon entry or exit.
Your SeaPass Card will serve as your boarding card. This card identifies you as a Celebrity guest and must be carried with you along with picture ID when you go ashore. Because the ship is closed to the public while docked at the various ports-of-call, you must show your SeaPass Card and picture ID to the officer on duty in order to return on board.
PRE-PAID GRATUITIES (TIPS)
As a “Mystery School At Sea” Seminar-at-Sea attendee, when you registered for the Cruise, your gratuity was prepaid in the amount of $18 per person per day, or $18.50 per person per day for Aqua Class and Concierge Class, or $23 per person per day for Retreat Class — Suites, per person, per day for service charges (tips) to your steward, waiters, and all other onboard staff.
This gratuity is shared by your stateroom attendant, dining services staff, and housekeeping staff members who help enhance your vacation experience.
An 20% gratuity will be automatically added to all alcoholic beverages, bottled water, soda, mini-bar purchases, and spa and salon services. Additional gratuities may be added at your discretion.
WELCOME ABOARD
Staterooms are generally not ready for occupancy before 1:00 pm. As soon as you get onboard, if your stateroom is not ready yet, you can still drop off your carry-on luggage in your room. If your room is ready, you can go inside and get settled in. There you will find the “Celebrity Today” Newsletter with schedules for all the onboard activities, including a ship tour with the cruise crew. If the spa or fitness classes are your thing, make your appointments on the first day, as the most popular treatments and times fill up fast.
LUNCH IS SERVED
Shortly after you are welcomed aboard your incredibly spectacular Celebrity ship, you’re invited to relax, dine, or snack at any of the following restaurants: Oceanview Café Buffet (Deck 10), Mast Grill (Deck 11), Sushi on Five (Deck 5). On embarkation day, Concierge Class and above are served sit-down lunch in the Main Dining Room. Retreat Class are served sit-down lunch in the Luminae dining room (Deck 4).
Read the details in your “Celebrity Today” Newsletter, which you will find in your room, on the TV in your room, and on the Celebrity App on your smartphone, as this dining information might be out of date due to frequent Dry Dock renovations to the ship.
Celebrity’s unique combination of gracious dining staff, fine cuisine, and new friends make every meal onboard a memorable occasion, starting from the moment you get on the ship.
MANDATORY SAFETY DRILL
All guests must participate in the mandatory safety drill (also known as “muster”) and follow all health and safety instructions issued by the Captain as part of the mandatory safety drill announcements. Upon embarkation, guests will have a window of several hours during which they must (a) review essential safety information and (b) report to their designated muster station.
Use our patented eMuster™ system, which allows for the review of essential safety information by viewing a safety video via the Celebrity mobile app or stateroom televisions. Guests who do not complete the safety video portion of the muster requirements via eMuster™, or who are otherwise unable to review essential safety information upon embarkation, will be required to participate in a brief safety presentation upon arrival at their designated muster station.

Security on the seminar will be strict, and you will not be allowed into any events without your unique identification. Also, if you are attending one of our special Seminar-at-Sea Shore Excursions, or Special Events on the ship, you will receive your Shore Excursion tickets and Special Event tickets during this mandatory check-in.
MANDATORY First Meeting

Make new friends at dinner, or dine with your favorite speakers! Please note that you can eat at any table you want within our designated seating area. Even though your “SeaPass Card” might have a table-number printed on it, your table is NOT really assigned, so you may feel free to move around and meet new people for each meal. Please arrive on time in order to get a spot. Otherwise empty tables will be relinquished to general seating.
Of course, you are not required to eat with our group, or in our dining room. There are many places to eat anytime on the ship, including a giant buffet and 24-hour Room Service.
SEMINAR-AT-SEA SPEAKERS INSPIRATIONAL PRODUCTS
On our “Mystery School At Sea” Seminar-at-sea, our speakers will bring books, CDs, DVDs, and other products. Some may also offer private sessions. They will be exhibiting their wares in the meeting room in the Conference Center on the ship.
These special items can be purchased with cash or a credit card and will not go through the Celebrity SeaPass account system. If you get short on cash, all ships in the Celebrity fleet have ATM machines. There is a transaction fee levied by the owners of the ATMs, plus any other fees your financial institution would charge.
CELEBRITY CRUISE LINES SMOKING POLICY
For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, our ships are designated as non-smoking. This includes a prohibition on the use of vaping, hookah, or other types of water pipes.
Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom or on any stateroom balcony. This applies to all stateroom categories onboard. If a guest is in violation of this “No Smoking” policy, a cleaning fee will be applied to their onboard account. Smoking is also not permitted in any dining venue, theater, bar, lounge, hallway, elevator or jogging track, or most indoor areas. Further, smoking is not allowed in certain outdoor areas, including restricted areas, food venues, and kids play areas and pools.
To provide an onboard environment that also satisfies smokers, we have designated certain areas of the ship as smoking areas. To assist smoking guests to locate areas where smoking is permitted, we have posted signage onboard clearly identifying all smoking areas and ashtrays provided for smoking use. Guest may also inquire at Guest Services regarding the location of the designated smoking areas onboard.
In casinos on itineraries where smoking is allowed, there will be visible signage designating the area for both smoking and non-smoking guests.
Cigar and pipe tobacco is limited to designated outdoor areas and cigar bars (if the ship has one). Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are only permitted within the designated smoking areas.
Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard.
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.
VACCINATIONS
Information regarding required vaccinations for your cruise is listed on your Travel Summary (if applicable). You are urged to seek advice from your primary care physician or an approved public health advisory service to identify any specific vaccination or health precautions required for each port of call.
TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN
Infants must be at least 6 months old in order to travel on most cruises with Celebrity. For those traveling with toddlers over 6 months old, there are various programs onboard tailored to entertain them.
Cruises are fun for kids of all ages, and there are plenty of activities to keep your toddlers entertained. Kids under the age of 3 can enjoy Toddler Time at the ship’s playroom, where they’ll be able to play with educational toys and interact with other kids around their age. Parental supervision is required during Toddler Time, but children don’t have to be potty trained in order to participate in Toddler Time activities. Certain toys and books will also be available to check out and bring back to your stateroom.
Potty-trained kids age 3 to 12 can participate in our Camp at Sea program. Open every day from 9:00am to 10:00pm, Camp at Sea’s entertainment center offers activities for kids with all kinds of interests, including STEM-oriented excursions, Xbox tournaments, culinary experiences, and art programs.
For parents who want to enjoy a couple of hours off or perhaps a romantic dinner, the Camp at Sea program also offers afternoon and slumber parties at different hours of the day. During these parties, kids will eat a meal and enjoy activities while being supervised by our youth staff, so you can rest easy that they are being taken care of while you get to enjoy some alone time. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
PREGNANT WOMEN
If you have a healthy pregnancy, then going on a cruise vacation is a lovely way to celebrate the upcoming addition to your family. Pregnant women can enjoy a cruise on Celebrity Cruises up until their 23rd week of pregnancy. That being said, it’s always safer to talk to your doctor before traveling, especially if you’ve had any issues with your pregnancy in the past. After 23 weeks, there are increased risks in pregnancies such as preterm labor and delivery, and onboard, we do not have the medical equipment and staff available to treat these types of emergency situations.
Even if you’re not pregnant, it’s perfectly normal to feel nauseous while on a cruise. Some cruisers can experience seasickness, a form of motion sickness, while on board. This can happen when your eyesight and inner ear senses are out of balance. For pregnant women, seasickness plus the standard queasiness that can come during early pregnancy can lead to a bad bout of nausea. The good news is that there are several over-the-counter and natural remedies to alleviate seasickness on board, including rest, ginger candies, motion sickness medication, and acupressure bands. We recommend talking to your doctor before taking any medication during your pregnancy.
Going on a cruise while pregnant won’t limit your ability to enjoy some of the best activities and entertainment options onboard. Spend time at The Spa, where you’ll be able to get some much-needed rest and relaxation. Treat yourself to a rejuvenating facial, indulgent massage, or a refreshing manicure and pedicure. Unwind on the heated tile loungers and take in gorgeous views of the ocean in the spa’s relaxation.
PASSENGERS WITH LIMITED MOBILITY
Airport Transportation
If requested in advance, Celebrity can arrange for accessible transportation to transfer guests between the airport and the pier. This accessible cruising service is offered at no extra charge to our air/sea guests or those who have purchased cruise-only transfers. Accessible transportation may be limited or unavailable outside the U.S. See our travel agent at 336-749-1219, or contact Celebrity for details.
Extra Assistance at the Pier
Celebrity Cruises offers boarding and departure assistance to guests with mobility disabilities. Request assistance once you arrive at the pier or contact us prior to your cruise so that we may prioritize your needs during boarding. During peak times there may be a wait for assistance. Many ports provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters, however due to various conditions: steepness of the gangway, tendering, weather, tidal and sea conditions, and shore-side facilities, guests using assistive devices may be precluded from getting on or off the ship. We will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests, but for safety reasons, our staff is not permitted to lift guests or equipment. Assistance with manual wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. will be provided.
Assistance Onboard
We provide reasonable mobility assistance to guests in accessing areas of the ship that are not accessible.
Our vessel has specially designed staterooms for guests who require mobility assistive features. If you have not booked one of these accessible staterooms but instead will be using a standard stateroom, you need to know about some limitations that adversely impact maneuverability, especially ingress and egress into bathrooms. For example, bathroom dimensions, doorsills, and the height of bathtubs in standard staterooms are often difficult to negotiate for guests who have mobility limitations. Additionally, standard stateroom doors and hallways may be too narrow for a wheelchair or scooter to maneuver into and out of the stateroom. Note: For safety reasons, these mobility devices must be stored and charged in the guests’ staterooms.
Tender Port Policy for Limited Mobility Passengers
The goal of Celebrity Cruises is to provide a safe comfortable cruise experience for all passengers. Some ports of call require the ship to anchor off shore. Passengers are then taken to shore by small boats or tenders.
If you will be using a mobility device during your sailing we strongly recommend you travel with a person physically fit to assist with your needs both onboard and ashore.
Embarking and disembarking can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Many major ports of call provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters. However due to various conditions; steepness of the gangway, weather, shore-side facilities, tidal and sea conditions, passengers using mobility devices may be required to transfer to a stair climber or be precluded from going ashore. Celebrity staff will make every effort to assist but are not allowed to individually physically lift more than 50 pounds (22 kg).
When tendering is required, passengers using mobility devices will not be transferred into or out of the tender, if lifting in excess of the above limitation is required. Many tender ports do not provide wheelchair access so even if the passenger can board the tender they may not be able to disembark ashore. Again the shore-side facilities, movement of the tender, weather and tidal conditions can also preclude tendering.
The decision to allow any passenger to board a tender or disembark the vessel will be made by the Captain on the basis of the safety and welfare of all involved and is final.
If passengers are unable to tender or disembark because of circumstances outlined above there will be no refund or credit for missed ports. While Celebrity recognizes your disappointment, the safety of both passengers and crew takes precedence.
